Albin Kaelin and the company he founded, epeaswitzerland, have again been recognized for their commitment to the circular economy this year. In the past, both Kaelin himself and the company have been awarded numerous international prizes.
Transformation of Textiles and Fashion Industry by Circular Design Process
A recent International Fiber Journal article highlights how the fashion and textile sector must shift from linear production to regenerative systems. The “Transformation by Circular Design Process,” developed with epeaswitzerland, guides companies through eight stages of collaborative, circular innovation. Grounded in Cradle to Cradle® principles, it fosters systemic change beyond traditional eco-design. With growing EU regulations like the Green Deal and CSRD, the industry is urged to adopt circular thinking and leadership to create truly sustainable value.
